Her childhood memories are all stained
with a disconsolate anguish of
An ache so deep in her soul
It took half a lifetime to pinpoint.
Overwhelmed by a flood of grief
at this realization and yet
It felt like recalling
a long forgotten dream.
It seemed that in this life,
in this incarnation of being,
Her trials and tribulations
stemmed from within that void inside.
No chemical made by the hands of men,
nor any by Mother Nature herself,
Could bridge this chasm.
Until she figured out how to ground
And how to clear space.
With a leap of faith,
the steady passage of time
Opened up a door
through which she passed.
Her heart now beats in pure joy.
The void full to bursting with love.
For a future to spend
The rest of her mortal days,
Pouring out her love and lifting up
The beautiful souls she's finally found;
